Communication and thanks
Please accept our heartfelt thanks for your flexibility over the past two seasons as we've experimented with various communication methods. From the inherited Facebook page, which unfortunately attracted unwanted bot activity, to our early attempts at a Discord server (it would have been so cool, Mike, it was just too far ahead of the curve), and the now-decommissioned website—we've explored numerous avenues.
Ultimately, we've found success with a Substack-based email/homepage and the peer-to-peer texting platform GroupMe, which offers all community members an equal voice and easy access.
As we are at nationals, please note that the Substack will not be updated, as it has limitations when used on mobile devices. For timely updates, especially if you're attending Nationals or wish to stay informed remotely, we encourage you to join our GroupMe chat. This platform allows you to customize notifications, including muting the entire chat or specific topics that may not interest you.
